Kristan was the loving mother to four children, ages 10, 7, 5 and 2. Three of her children have Cystic Fibrosis, which results in enormous medical expenses for the grandparents, who are now caring for the children for the rest of their lives. The staff and residents at Hillebrand have organized a "Walk for Kristan's Kids" which will be held in May. The event will raise funds to use for the education of the children and 100% of the proceeds will go directly to their education fund. The Cookie Jar Fund has proudly donated $1,000 to this very worthy cause.
