My recent diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer has been a positive experience for me, in large part, due to my work family at RoseCrest and Functional Pathways. I have sincerely been able to remain upbeat through bilateral mastectomy, reconstruction and chemotherapy because my work family has lifted me up in show of love, prayer, and positive thoughts. Fear of the unknown including being able to pay the mortgage, not being able to work, & concern that my history of cancer might even cause me to lose my job were quickly dissolved with Functional Pathway's financial assistance from the Cookie Jar Fund. More than the dollar amount sent, I am so thankful for the clear message sent which I interpret to mean, "You are a valued member of the Functional Pathway's family and we truly care about you"!
